IntegraCI Certified Expert / Platform Architect (ICE)

Architect at scale: reference architectures, self-host and air-gap, custom connectors, multi-region, and org-wide governance. Performance-based.

  • Audience: platform architects, principal engineers, and platform leads who decide how IntegraCI is deployed, isolated, extended, and governed across many teams or tenants. You already build on the platform; here you design it for scale.
  • Outcomes — after this course you can:
  • Draw the reference architecture: how the control plane, connectors, the data plane, and tenants fit, and which deployment topology suits an edition.
  • Plan a self-host deployment up to an air-gapped install, and state exactly what stays inside the boundary.
  • Decide when to extend the connector library with the pluggable connector SDK versus connecting an existing tool, and build a connector that holds up.
  • Design for high availability with DR and multi-region Helm profiles, and name the trade-offs honestly.
  • Govern policy, evidence, and AI across many tenants without turning isolation into something you only hope holds.
  • Time: about 10 to 14 hours of self-paced study, then the project. Most candidates spend more time on the project than the reading.
  • Prereq: a Professional certification (ICD, ICPE, or ICSC). ICPE is the most direct on-ramp because it covers running the platform; ICSC helps most on the governance and evidence criteria. category IntegraCI · tags expert, ice, architect, performance-based.
